After each file have been sucessfully flashed, it's a good idea to power cycle the ODD, either by disconnecting the SATA Power cable (wait at least 15 seconds before reconnecting) or by restarting the computer.A stable power source for both the ODD and the computer.SATA controller in AHCI Mode, IDE Mode or an USB to SATA Controller (olofolleola4 tested this with JMicron JM20337 and Intel Corporation Q170/Q150/B150/H170/H110/Z170/CM236 Chipset SATA Controller (AHCI Mode)).LG (HL-DT-ST) WH16NS40 (not yet tested)įrom here and below, this guide will focus only on JB8 2015.05.08 ODDs!.LG (HL-DT-ST) WH14NS40: 1.03 (not yet added to DiscImageCreator).LG (HL-DT-ST) BH16NS48 (not yet tested).LG (HL-DT-ST) BH16NS40: 1.03 (not yet added to DiscImageCreator).LG (HL-DT-ST) UH12NS30 (not yet tested).LG (HL-DT-ST) CH12NS30 (not yet tested).LG (HL-DT-ST) CH12NS40 (not yet tested).LG (HL-DT-ST) BH16NS50 (not yet tested).

Latest compatible official firmware version for some of the LG (HL-DT-ST) (rebadges/clones from Asus/Dell/HP) BD ODDs to support DiscImageCreator: The reason (as of 2020-Mar-15) why LG/Asus BD ODDs needs to be flashed into Asus BW-16D1HT 3.02 (DE - Downgrade Enable) (most probably ODDs using PCB: JB8 2015.05.08 ( Reference Image)) is because that firmware supports Lead-in and the OpCode 0xf1 (normally used by Plextors to read the EEPROM, but in the case with Asus BW-16D1HT 3.02, it reads the cache) to read 1 sector of Lead-out through cache. Work has began and is under construction by olofolleola4.
